The SES test cards.
SES Astra have traditionally used a blue test card on vacant transponders. Several variations have been used over the years.
This is an early card, complete with SES branding.

A later version removed the central SES banners - I havent located a suitable shot of this yet. (If you have one, please contact me!)
And here is the version used 2001 - 2002 on Astra 1D at 24.2E This one is unusual in that I havent seen a blue card withan individual satellite identification on it before.

However occasionally a colour bar card is used instead:

At the beginning of August 2002, a new card appeared at 19.2E. This one was radiating on 2 transponders.

At the beginning of November 2002, a test card appeared on Astra 1A over at 5.2E. This is a variation of the Astra 1D card:
