28th March 2003: Abu Dhabi ceased analogue transmissions in the last couple of days. This table is now only for information.
18th February 2003: Algeria 3 ceased on 11897 V in the last couple of days, and gone digital only.
Kuwait TV (11859 V) lost to digital over summer 2001.

17th December 2001: Arabsat 3A suffered a major electronics failure on 7th December 2001. About 8 transponders were taken off air. Lyngsat reported that there were now only 2 analogue channels transmitting off this satellite, (Abu Dhabi / Algeria 3). Some of the channels were switched over to Arabsat 2 which is older and has weaker transponders. Full story here.
