Astra 1KR (when at 4.3 E)

Astra 1KR was parked at 4.3E for testing early in May 2006. She was first reported on air on 9th May. I found the signals to be incredibly strong, just using my Sirius dish and without re-aligning it off 5E! Most transmissions are just blank carriers, so the screen appears black. This page will be archived once the testing period ceases.
5th June 2006 Astra 1KR has left its test slot at 3.4E at the end of May 2006, and is now heading towards its new home at 19.2E - It will soon be in full service and will join the rest of the fleet on the Astra 1 page :-)
