Comparison of the Telecom series 1 satellites.
These satellites are long out of service, but are included for their historical interest. These werent the first French telecommunication satellites - before Telecom series 1 came the almost forgotten Symphony satellites.
Apart from the 6-Ku band transponders, the Telecom 1 satellites also carried 4 C-band transponders, and 2 X-band transponders for military communications.
