Arabsat 4A and 4B were ordered on 21 st October 2003. They will be launched by Proton rockets in 2005 & 2006.

1 Launch failure stranded 4A in a low earth orbit. The Proton appears to have suffered a 4th stage failure. De-orbited 25/3/2006 into the Pacific
