The demise of the very last D2Mac channel - goodbye to DR2 1st July 2006.
1st July 2006 and DR2 - the the very last D2Mac channel is due to go off air. A special thanks to Kay Batholomaus for the images on this page, and heres the message that was overlaid on the picture in the final days.
And here the very final image transmitted before the signal was cut mid programme.
No graceful closedowns, no farewell message, no testcard, 11434V was turned off mid programme! This final image was followed by half a second or so of white noise before the decoder cut to its "no signal" blue screen :-(
