10th August 2003: The Canal+
signal was switched over to Hispasat 1D at the beginning of July :-)
Hispasat 1A appears to have been junked. Lyngsat currently lists it a 98°W, and
moving 3.5°W a day.
23rd July 2003: Hispasat 1A is on the move again. Its currently heading rapidly west.
3rd May 2003: Hispasat 1A is now at 7°W, and 1D has been in service for several weeks. Unfortunately, the analogue signal is still radiating off the low powered 1B :-(
29th March 2003: Hispasat 1A has left 30°W, and is heading east.
24th November 2002: Ive finally got a weak signal off Hispasat :-) Its just about behind trees here, so the signal is terrible, and its radiating off Hispasat 1B. This is a low powered elderly satellite, on the point of retirement.
