Hotbird 7A took over most of Hotbird 1's frequencies on 20th April 2006. TV5 Monde immediately moved over to the new satellite, although TVN didnt..

27th May 2006:     Hotbird 4 removed form 13E. She is off to 7W to help out the Nilesat programme

3rd October 2006:     Hotbird 8 took over all Hotbird 3 channels overnight.

17th February 2009:     Hotbird 9 took over the Hotbird 7A frequencies in the early hours of this morning.

17th December 2008:     TVN info card ceased off 11503V, the frequency has been digitalised.

15th December 2008:     TVN ceased off 11503V. Its currently just running an info card.

1st August 2008:     M2 ceased off 12128H overnight (Hottie 8).

16th August 2006:     Hotbird 1 was turned off yesterday, and TVN moved over to Hotbird 7A The frequency changed from11489V to 11509V.

2nd May 2006:     The BBC World info card on 11113V ceased this morning. The transponder has been re-configured to provide a digital service.

21st April 2006:     TV5 Monde moved from Hotbird 1 to Hotbird 7A yesterday

18th April 3006:     BBC World ceased transmissions off 11113V at midday today. Its now carrying an info screen.

15th April 2006:     EuroNews ceased off 11363V sometime around the 2nd April.

1st February 2006:     BBC World have confirmed to me that the analogue signal will cease mid April :(

29th December 2005:     M2 has changed frequency slightly. Its moved from 12130H to 12128H.

31st October 2005:     TV Polonia pulled off air at 22:59:20 UTC from 11474H on HB 1

6th August 2005:     Euronews appeared on 11363V ! :-)

28th May 2004:     TV 4 ceased off 11431H four days late, RAI Uno left 11363V, RAI Due left 11446V & to complete a dismal day for 13E analogue, RAI Tre ceased off 11531V. The RAI channels were still on air at 1930pm UK time, but were gone at 2305.

8th March 2005:     RAI closedown update - do you enjoy RAI 1, 2 & 3 on 13E? Then it time to update to digital NOW! - Closedown for all 3 channels is reported to be 28th April 2005. :-(

4th March 2005:     The German "Transponder News" web site is reporting TV4 on Hotbird is ceasing off 11431H on 24th April..., with TVN also ceasing soon.

3rd March 2005:    TRT International ceased off HB6 10974H

1st January 2005:    Deutsche Welle ceasd of HB6 11161V.

11th November 2004:    The 11079V info card for Arte & France 5 has been turned off.

6th November 2004:    France 5 and Arte have ceased off 11079V. There is currently an info card running on their frequency, although the audio is still running! :-(

13th August 2004:    RTP International (Portugal) finally axed off 11727V (HB2) today. The frequency has immediately been lost to digital :-(

26th July 2004:    Despite the reports of the channel closures, all three are still operating at the moment.

8th June 2004:    RTP Portugal, TVN Poland & TV4 Poland are all reported to be facing closure on 1st July this year. On a more positive note, it looks like the RAI channels will be radiated until 2007.

15th May 2004:    The religious service TBN Europe has ceased off 11562H  :-(

23rd August 2003:    the time share channels CTV / Mezopotamia TV / Medya TV have ceased off 10853H in the last couple of days.   :-(

1st June 2003:    The Telefonica promo on 11224H has ceased.

22nd February 2003:    The old TVN frequency - 11148V has been lost to digital.

25th January 2003:    ERT Sat ceased on 12284H a couple of days ago.

12th November 2002:    Hotbird 5 is now at 33šE, and is renamed Eurobird 2

31st October 2002:    Polsat 2 has left 11345H. 11387H which was off air for months has been lost to digital :-(

24th October 2002:    Hotbird 5 is no longer at 13šE. Its moving east. TVN Siedem left 11489 V during September, and TVN moved onto that frequency from 11148 H

26th September 2002:    Hotbird 6 went into service yesterday, and replaced Hotbird 5.

5th July 2002:    The old TVE channel is carrying a test card This is in NTSC format, so does some strange things to my receivers.....

3rd June 2002:    TVE International 11224 H has ceased. There is currently an info card stating the signal has gone digital.

6th March 2002:    RTL 7 has disappeared off 11489 V. Replacing it is TVN Siedem.

1st February 2002:    new on 11345 H is PolSat 2 International

24th November 2001:    TVN 24 has left 11178 H. Thats 3 channels gone in less than 2 weeks :-(

21st November 2001:    Canal + Bialy has left 11516 H. 11405 V has been lost to digital.

18th November 2001:     Polsat has gone from 11431 H. TV4 has moved from 11348 H to 11431 H.

14th August 2001:    TVN 24 is a new Polish service on 11178 H, which seems to be a weak transponder. RAI Med has gone from 11390 H.

20th July 2001:    11405 V is off air again. Canal 24 Horas on 11785 H has gone. Ignore this frequency - its now carrying a Spanish digital service    :-(

13th July 2001:    TV 5 Europe is a new signal on 11405 V
