MTV2 POP RENEWS CONTRACT FOR SATELLITE DISTRIBUTION ON ASTRA 19.2° EAST

Analogue and digital free-to-air ASTRA satellite feeds available all across Europe 24 hours a day

 

SES ASTRA, an SES GLOBAL company (Luxembourg and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: SESG) and MTV Networks Europe, owned by Viacom, are pleased to announce the renewal of a long-term contract for the distribution of MTV2 Pop on SES ASTRA’s prime Continental European orbital position of 19.2° East.

Under the terms of the agreement, MTV2 Pop, just like its Viacom sister channel MTV Networks Europe will continue to be available to ASTRA audiences all across Europe with analogue as well as digital free-to-air feeds.

MTV2 Pop’s analogue signal is available on ASTRA transponder nbr. 15 (11,42075 GHz), while ASTRA digital viewers tune into ASTRA transponder nbr. 91 (12,22650 GHz) for free-to-air reception.
